Soldier4Him
I was talking with someone last week and we got into a discussion of free-will. He argued that if God knows everything that we are going to do in our life, how do we have free will? We talked about it for quite some time and then he ran off. I'd like to continue the discussion, but can I get some pointers?
phatcatholic
first off, i just wanna say that your sig is freakin AWESOME! ok, God's awareness of everything we are going to do in our life is called foreknowledge. this has no bearing on free will whatsoever. foreknowledge is merely God's ability to transcend time, to see every frame in our life as if it were a rolled-out string of film. we still have the ability to make decisions for ourselves and determine what happens in each frame. see what i mean?
