A milky way bar...

I opened up shop this morning for work, and there on the counter was a milky way bar with a note that said:

"Teresa,
for you.

From,
Patrick"

See, Patrick's my manager. He's got a girlfriend, he's divorced, he knows I'm married. Sometimes I find it hard to deciper any 'signals' that go on, because it gets pretty busy at times.

I just don't know what to make of this 'gesture'.

Eat it and say thank you.
the end... :)

After doing 10 hours of paper work for my manager, he used to rub my shoulders and make me hot chocolate. Nothing else was involved.

Maybe he can't give you a raise so he's rewarding you in another way.

Eat it and be happy.

Just assume its on the up and up. He certainly would not want to mess with Adam.

Be happy - he could be a cranky old coot instead.

That wasn't a gift, that was a payment ;)

Hehe...Just kidding...you know I love you :)

It was a moment of bliss, and that's something of huge sentiment. A candy bar...not so much....

I think it's kinda sad that we live in a world where one person doing a kindness for another is looked at as having "motives" just because one is a man and the other a woman. (Not pointing the figure at you MBA, it's sort of a societal thing)... Just accept it as a kindness...

Now, if he'd said, "Here's a Milky Way. Take off all of your clothes and enjoy," well, then you'd know...

Like you don't deserve it?

Just out of the blue...dunno...I don't like surprises.
