I don't like your avatar. I could just as easily say Democrats for Lockheart or Greens for Slytherin.

Besides, we all know that Republicans are for Dumbledore. ;)

Actually, what's funny about the icon is that there's a livejournal community of Harry Potter fans supporting Bush called "Wizards for Bush".
I'm a registered Democrat who's going to vote for Bush. Kerry supports too much killing for my liking.

God bless,

Jen
Ditto

The Great Scandal of the Democratic Party is that there is no pro life caucus.
I'm voting for Bush. Not only because Kerry has publicly shown that he is against the church and her teachings through his words and actions, but because of how the President pulled this country together in our modern day's history's darkest hour.
Gosh, how quick we jump to discounting the Holocaust. September 11th was a horrible event, but it is dwarfed by the Holocaust.

It isn't as grave a moral evil to vote for Bush as to vote for Kerry, but its a moral evil in my opinion in its own right.

It is a moral evil to vote for the more supporting of the five non-negotiables (if faced with that particular circumstance). That is doctrine.

I think the phrase "modern day" meant in the last 20 years or so...

Furthermore, Bush will do more to stop the American Holocaust (thanks for bringing the word into the debate), which kills over 4,000 children per day. He will also stand stronger against gay marriage and euthanasia.

Raphael, I didn't say anything about abortion. Why is that everyones only draw point? "September 11th is the darkest hour in modern history" "Actually its the Holocaust" "Bush stops abortions!"

People, pay attention here, I'm not going to be having debates here on abortion. Abortion is wrong, and you can't vote for a 'culture of death' candidate. Bush isn't totally pro-life, and Kerry's actions are pro choice even if his mind is not (he states that he is against abortion and it isn't my place or any of yours to make judgment on that... we can judge him on his actions -which are decidedly anti-life - but not his thoughts).

Notice how I never said voting for Kerry wasnt morally evil? I was also just saying that it is my opinion that Bush isn't the pro-life angel you guys make him out to be. Thats whats wrong with this forum, people tag Bush with this pro life label, and then all of a sudden that pro life label applies to his economic policy, his foreign policy... gimme a break here.

When I vote, not in this election because I'm too young and Canadian, I will vote based on my own examination of the candidates' stance on the five non-negotiables. I will also vote based on my own examination of the candidates' stance on issues like the economy, healthcare, etc.

Saying Kerry is evil and you must vote for Bush is wrong, there are other candidates. I beg all of you to stop attaching Religious issues like abortion, to nonrelated issues like Economy. Just because Bush is against abortion, doesn't make his economic policy right.

I'm not saying that Bush is wrong on everything other than abortion or that Kerry is right, I'm just saying that when people bring up something that doesn't involve abortion that goes against what you personally believe, don't attach abortion to it.
