StMichael
Link The above link goes to "fight Planned Parenthood." To date, at least 108 corporations have ceased funding Planned Parenthood through their efforts. Amazingly, some of the ones listed, THAT STILL SUPPORT ABORTION AND ARE PART OF FIGHTPP'S BOYCOTT, are as follows: - Bank of America - CIGNA - Gannett (which owns many newspapers and television stations throughout the USA) - Adobe Systems - Pfizer - Blimpie Subs & Salad - Hilton Hotels, - J. P. Morgan Chase (including Chase Manhattan Bank & Bank One) - Prudential - Kenneth Cole - Johnson & Johnson - The New York Times (which owns many newspapers and television stations throughout the USA) - Unilever (Calvin Klein [fragrances & cosmetics], Degree, Lifebouy, Lux, Pears, Q-tips, Rave, Suave products, Vaseline, Dove, Caress, Lever 2000, Mentadent, Ponds, Red Rose & Lipton teas, Best Foods, Wish-Bone, Ben & Jerry’s, Good Humor, & Breyers ice cream, Slim-Fast, etc.), - - Hearst - Small Dog Electronics - Nationwide Insurance - Levi Strauss - Microsoft (Hotmail, Expedia.com, etc.) - Newman's Own - Kaiser Permanente - Patagonia - Wachovia - Whole Food Markets. You now know, what you now need to do is avoid these companies and let them know you are not buying from them until they change their policy. Piccoli Fiori JMJ
Wow... I'm going to have to change a lot of the things I buy and use... that list is rather large!
Kilroy the Ninja
You need to clarify that the above listed businesses still support abortion.

Ash Wednesday
Okay, however, let's be realistic about material cooperation here. What do you do when your very trade and ability to make a living is dependant on working on Microsoft Windows OS, (who doesn't use Microsoft software?) or in my case, working with Adobe software? I think Anna had said something about eating grass a while back about this...

To choose against God is a choice meaning you worship money. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and help you. As for MS, switch to Apple or find alternative programs. Bottom line is to try and change these companies thinking by having them STOP funding PP or you will stop funding them.
Ash Wednesday
I wonder how many Catholic books, artwork, and publications are published using Adobe software? Oregon Catholic Press, who is non profit, I believe publishes the Missal and songbook that my parish uses for Mass -- and works on Mac... and Windows. And their print and praise sells their publications in Adobe PDF. I suppose they worship money before God, too. Paladin D
Haven't read the whole list, but I can't effectively boycott Microsoft nor Adobe. I use Adobe Photoshop which is thee most advance digital imaging program in existence, and I need it for what I'm doing. If I had an equal alternative (or better), I would switch. I'm all for supporting and encouraging open source software.
Pal, in the words of slick Willie, "I feel your pain" -- the design and publishing industry is monopolized by Adobe. I think at this point in time, boycott of Adobe is very difficult and next to impossible in the creative and publishing field. However I think writing the company is always good, and offering support for open source. There are a lot of people that are very upset about Adobe for other reasons (not just the PP issue)
