Dear Apologetic's,

My brother's and sister's I have recently been filled with joy and happiness of how much knowledge and Truth is being emitted from this discussion board. My heart leap's with St. John the Baptist as he rested in Elizabeth's womb, when I visit this site. But there is a concern that has slowly been making its' way to the front of my mind. This concern of mine is for the good of the "Apologetic's Board," the good of Phatmass, and the good of the human soul.
The "National Catholic Weekly" motto is Veritatem Facientes In Caritate. This is nothing but Truth itself. Translated it mean's "Fostering Truth in Charity." And how much more is there to Apologetic's than Truth and Charity. Without Truth the charity would be without purpose and without Charity the Truth would not be heard. So it is wise that each and every Apologetic remember's what his/her goal is. To often do I lose sight of what my purpose on this Board is. To often do I end up trying to convert people. Where as it is through the Grace of the Holy Spirit that metenoia (change of heart) occur's. If Truth is only skin deep it can never reach the Heart. It will never be able to grow. It will never be able to foster itself in Charity. For if this does not happen is it safe to say our effort's are futile? That is for God alone to reveal to each one of us.

So I encourage you, do not let your effort's be futile.

Veritatem Facientes In Caritate,

Totus Tuus,

Andy

Not at this board...but at my Fuzzy Bunny board there are some people who approach debate as if it were a fight.

(PS those people are not from Phatmass.)

I was just wanted to re-ensure that there was Charity, not only one this board but also on other boards, and in our daily life...It is our example that speaks the loudest.
