if he thinks the bridge is still intact, he cannot repair it. if he refuses to admit the flaws of his design which caused the collapse, how can he repair it?

even if he is a good plumber, that doesn't mean he can rebuild a bridge.

what collapse? From what I see, this whole operation is proceeding quite well. It hasn't even finished construction yet. this is like changing architects in the middle of the job.
