Thy Geekdom Come

FoxNews just had a discussion on which candidate will get the military vote and this women said that John Kerry will. One of her reasons: "...he's a devout Catholic..."

I mean...we have photographic evidence of John Kerry receiving a communion (lower-case because it's invalid ;)) in an Episcopalian church...

You don't have "evidence" without first a witness supporting in, than and only than can a photographic be introduced (McCromick (sp?) on Evidence).

SHe is nuts.

Ash Wednesday

Kerry will not get the military vote any more than Bush will get the black vote. That's just the way it is. I've never heard of anyone's religion having anything to do with the military vote, so that has got to be one of the strangest things I've ever heard.

"Jimmy Carter will get the military vote because he's a devout Baptist!"

Generally the military vote goes Republican. While there are a small handful of troops out there that oppose Bush, a large majority surveyed overwhelmingly support Bush.

Silence implies consent.
