hey all, here's a punk song i wrote and just posted in one of littleflowers phorums, it's a dedication to my youth group, shout out to all you antiochers out there, it's called "happy place":

see you walkin on

down that lonely street

leading you nowhere

stop you where you stand

take you by the hand

lead you far from here

take you to someplace new

where noone judges you

but shows that they care

here you have found your peace

and you will know at least

i"ll always...be with you...right here

here you can dance and sing

and if you're ever feeling lonely.....i..will..be..there

you can feel free to chase

all your fantasies

or do the best i can

Busy people

Busy lives

Never stopping

To realize

What beauty they hold before them

Beautiful sunset

Beautiful skies

Why can they

Not recognize

When they see God before them

When the mountains look

As if they've been painted on the sky

When the air is so still and sweet

Yet alive and vibrant

When the night is filled with

The sights and sounds of people and nature

Why won't they stop and take a peek

And wonder at what a wonderful world this is

Busy people

Busy lives

Never stopping

To realize

The new year begins

And with it, new hope.

For our future,

For our children,

For our Mother Earth.

Will we live up to the expectations

of a new generation?

Will we hold to our morals, to our values,

In the midst of a morally degrading society?

Or will we sell our sould to the highest bidder?

Will we create a loving environment for our children

Or will we again allow the slaughter and abuse of innocents to go on?

Will we allow our rage to demand changes in our country,

Or will we passively stand by

And care not that our country is falling apart?

What will you do this new year?

Will you foster the spark of hope

Or crush it beneath your heel?

Remembrance

I woke up this morning

The day was bright and lovely

The sun cascaded through my windows

And I thought to myself,

"What a wonderful day

To run and skip and play

And laze the day away in the sun

And to have fun with you until the day is done."

So I got up to call you and tell you

But then I realized that we don't speak -

Not to each other anymore.

My mind came back to reality

With a bone-jarring crash

I cannot forget your acts of betrayal

Your callousness,

Your hurtfulness to me.

But neither can I forget the way we laughed together

Or your smile

Or the crazy things we did together

The fun we had

Doing ordinary things

Laughing, crying, sharing, singing songs

at the top of our lungs

And shouted like we didn't have a care in the world.

But nothing can last forever

and sometimes all good things do come to an end.

So while I would love to have those things

go on forever

I cannot forget my hurt

And I cannot forget my pride

I do not feel anything for you now,

except for a special place in my heart

for the good memories that I will always have

and for the bad ones that only time can

erase the hurt

so that only good memories survive.

Maybe time will heal all my wounds

Erase my bitterness

And leave only love

and compassion

One can only hope.

wind gushen in, from my open window

sitten by myself, jus smoked the indo

follow'n false visions, follow'n false light

lost in all lostness, without knowen right

lost in the fogness, foggen up my sight

wonderen in darkness, wonderen in night....

And still my God would forsake me never, ever, ever ever, ever ever ever

Never would my God forsake me

find'n days of emptyness, find'n days of sorrow

find'n days so strenous, find'n days that borrow

emotions from tommorow, to get me to tommorow

liveing for tommorow, when i didnt belive in tommorow

for what is tommorow if tommorow isnt belived

and wut is sorrow if sorrow isnt grieved

through the ups n downs came a fake balance

under the glass, standing on the glass, became my natural talant

And still my God would forsake me never, ever, ever ever, ever ever ever

Never would my God forsake me

wouldnt let'em judge me , so i stood my ground

but if i caused my brother to sin, then i was the one going down

burdens on shoulders, can be lifted like that

it can get warmer if its colder, listen to that....

whistle from the wind, when it blows jus right

when your sitten all alone, on a cold winter night

think about things, that you could never explain

think about life, and how life is to gain

think about love and how love is so real

think about grudges and how grudges can be healed

think about God and his sacrifice to man

think about Christ and his riseing to stand

as Son Of God, In the Glorious Heavens

where every thing is rejoiceful and nothen is upsetten

everyday filled with love, everyday filled with light

everyday filled with hope, everday filled with sight

cant wait for this day, so i pray for it sooner

one day we'll be together, and we'll all be rulers

of one Kingdom of Light, headed by God the Father

we'll be eating the tree of life, and drinking the liveing water

being most high, with the most high forever

blessed is our God,who would forsake us never, ever, ever ever, ever ever ever
