applebeez
To be honest, I don't even know what stem cell is... Can anyone explain this? Also, what's problem with it? -Jason
Carson Weber
Stem cells are cells that can be influenced to become certain types of cells such as heart cells, kidney cells, brain cells, bone cells, et cetera. The Church is for adult stem cell research because this type of research uses adult stem cells to advance our health without involving evil. The Church is directly and seriously opposed to embryonic stem cell research because it involves the creation of human beings, the destruction of the human being in the embryonic state, and then the harvesting of that human flesh for medical purposes. We can easily perform adult stem cell research with proven results without killing our little brothers and sisters, and yet there are those who insist that we should harvest other people for the same research, which is wholly evil.
