I bothered to sign up at this forum with only the intention of spreading information that I consider little-known and relevant. I felt obligated (by my studies in law and government) to share this information, which may be new or unfamiliar to some. As long as the information has reached an audience, I have done what I set out to do.
It is sad that you joined here to spread your political opinions as opposed to joining with the desire to connect with and forge relationships with fellow Catholics.
God bless and take care. I'm out!
I hope you are not out for good. I truely hope that you stay on this board.

With the Love of Christ,
Travis
Also, rest your doubts about my legal career; instead of working at a corporate firm last summer, I volunteered to work on cases for abused and orphaned children.

:) that's great. I'd still like to see you do more though.
Despite the fact that the President is limited in his powers, I think I'm voting for the better man. John Kerry's credibility is just shot to pieces. Bush has been wrong, but he has also been consistent. Kerry seems self-serving to me. His military service, his marriage to Theresa Heinz, his career...all seem to have been leading to this point. It is as if he has actively sought out the things that would enable him to look like a good Presidential candidate. Unfortunately, his character shows that he is not strong in his personal convictions, or at any rate he is afraid to lose votes by taking an extreme position. I would respect the man if he spoke more about the evil of abortion. I would respect him if he accepted guidance from the Church in matters of faith and morals.

Plus I don't like his wife very much.
