White Knight
Hello all I was wondering, if Mel Gibson ever decided to make another film based on the Bibicial Prepspective on History/teachings, and of course, Pro-Catholic Church, point of view. Which would you rather see? Moses (Person who got the Ten Commandments from the LORD) King David (Slayer of Goliath the Gaint, winner of many battles) Paul (Ex- Christian Believer Killer, whom was transformed by Jesus) All of them would be very interesting to see, but I wanna see out of these the most would probally be King David or Paul, I think theres alot of Moses films out there, and they kind of tend to drag on alittle to long, and there kind of weak to some degree. I agree Mel Gibson souldn't try to redo his Passion of the Christ Success, he doesn't wanna over do it I sould say, I remember him saying that in one interview on EWTN, while ago. But if he were to do another film, based on the Bible I think it would be cool if he did, King David, or Paul.
ATF90
Paul would be cool, moses even. if he does paul he could add on to the passion with a long sequal

Guest Aluigi
dude, Maccabees... not only would it be an awesome depiction of a just war fought for GOD, but it would get tons of good ratings and everyone would be watching a story found only in the Catholic Bible! plus: Gibson even said if he were to do something with the Bible again it'd be maccabees. cathoholic
I voted for David but Maccabees seems extremely cool. A just war (meaning cool battle scenes) and it's only found in the Catholic Bible... Wouldn't he loose his protestant audience?
White Knight
Thats the thing, even though it would be Pro-Catholic, alot of people wouldn't agree with it, because its from the Catholic Bible, andn ot many people know about the story of Maccabees, but people are more familar with Moses, David, Paul, (Obviously Jesus) Adam and Eve, etc. But it would be cool to still see the movie based on Maccabees. musturde
whiteknight, remember how the controversy in the Pasion made the film more popular? If he was to make a movie on Maccabees it would be very contraversial amongst the Jews and the Christians.
