Who Won The Presidential Debate?

I think that Bush proved he's not a good public speaker and Kerry proved that he can only speak in generalities. I was so frustrated with both of them that no one 'won' the debate to me. Kerry is definitely a better public speaker, though.

it's just frustrating listening to him, esp. when he has intelligent things to say but it takes 2 minutes of rambling to get to the good points. i doubt that people will really listen closely to try and fiddler out the babble to get to the point.

Thank you for clearing that up. It's been ages since I took any form of History, and History was my worst class in school.
I love History and just got out of AP US last year so it was all pretty fresh in my mind. Article X was a biggy in our class and we covered the UN pretty well because of the Cold War.

Your welcome.

Lounge Daddy

LA TIMES POLL SUNDAY: Bush's favorability rating among debate viewers actually improved slightly (although within the survey's margin of error). Before debate, 51% of watchers viewed Bush favorably, 49% unfavorably; after, numbers were 52% and 47%...

Ash Wednesday

That's interesting, Lounge Daddy.

What's so funny is what some Bush blogger wrote BEFORE the debate, and he was RIGHT!!!!

Pre-Debate Prediction

Short of something catastrophic either way, the media will all read from the same talking points that say:

1) John Kerry has found his voice and has lit a fire in his campaign
2) He was Presidential gave the American public a clear option in this election
3) The Bush campaign has to be worried because they have enjoyed great success the last 2 months beating John Kerry down without giving the public a good reason to vote for Bush. Now they must make that argument.
4) Ladies and gentlemen, we have a horserace on our hands.

There are many reasons why this is their script. Glenn Reynolds touched on it earlier.

I personally think they are simply too far "in the bag" to pull back now. Too much of their time and reputations have been invested to back out now.

Well, up the ante all you want, the bloggers have arrived and mainstream media's best days are behind them.

Is it possible that maybe,  just because none were found, means that perhaps they were moved?

Remember:  Suddam had the capabilities of making WMD, and taking into the account of Suddam, there is a high possibility that they had been made, and then transported out of the country.  Could it be possible that a scenario like that took place?
Ya I agree ,couldnt they have been hidden ? Why didnt people who call the war unreasonable because we didnt find WMDs ask themselves this question? sheesh

God Bless,
Ricky.
