Donna
Icthus, Scruples is taken from a latin word meaning pebble. The scrupulous person is incapable of forming correct judgements about his soul. The scrupulous soul turns a pebble into a mountain...or a bloody wine press, with white-hot metal spikes sticking out of it. Unchecked, unfortressed by grace, there is no torture like to it. Maybe you need time to see the truth of this. Mark it well: Fr. Luther did not find peace after his great abandon. Will you remain in torment, months or years from now after yours? Brother Adam
Also lest we not forget, we are to work out our salvation in fear and trembling. I have never seen an OSAS theologian explain this away.
