popestpiusx
I think they both worship at the altar of democracy a bit to much.
popestpiusx
No, Mr. Kerry, the future belongs to a society ordered to Christ. Anything short of that will fail. Freedom as an end is doomed to fail.
Iacobus
Maybe it's my internet audio, but Kerry's voice sounds like Gomer Pyle. "Surprise surprise surprise!"
I can barely rember Gomer Pyle's voice. So I can't comment.
popestpiusx
That goes for Bush as well. Freedom must be ordered to Truth.

toledo_jesus
I prayed 10 hail mary's to send the President strength. I dislike John Kerry, he sounds very stupid and naive. Bush is focused, but he was nervous. A plain speaker, and not too polished. I agree with him.

Paladin D
I support President Bush, but he didn't seem that impressive compared to Kerry (even though he's full of carp). Already the media is talking about this very thing.
mulls
i like how Bush said he prayed with the mother of the soldier who died. i didnt like how Kerry said "God Bless America" at the end. poser. Edited October 1, 2004 by mulls
I would say that is lacking. The issues should decide your vote. Vera, I listened to it all. I don't watch them, listening allows for better focus, lol. Kerry won, hands down. And I for one am not surprised. He came in 180* from what everyone was expecting. It tossed Bush off balance, and cast his as low. Kerry was short and clear in his speaking and came across as very informed. However, Kerry did not lose that element of articulicness that Bush lacks so often. Kerry had by far fewer stumbles, pauses, stutters, and other slips. Moreover, at times Bush almost seems unsure of his answers, rehashed the same things over and over again, and seemed slower to reply, such that he was given an air of poorly informed and dumb. Kerry debated circles around Bush.
