Not all with that title are non-Catholic, there are a handful of Catholic members who bear the "I do not rep the Church" logo as well, because not everything they say is always 100% in line with Church teaching. I think the reason that non-Catholics get the title is pretty obvious to everyone who has been here awhile, but like Paladin said new members aren't aware of who is Catholic or not so its just a little warning sign. Those Catholics who have repeatedly shown disrespect for or blatantly bash the Magisterium and Novus Ordo Mass, for example, generally get this title. The moderators are required to raise the warning level every time we have to edit someone's post, dUSt reads the post and the reason for editing and, if need be, alters their title accordingly.

Do you accept Pope John Paul II as your Pope? Do accept Vatican II?
