Piccoli Fiori JMJ
Hey, homeschoolmom, I know what you mean. When I play rough with my little brothers, and one of them gets hurt, they're really mad, but it goes (something) like this, "You ok?" *li'l angry* "yeah..." "You bleeding at all?" *lil angry* "no..." "Any bones broken?" "no" "You still alive? can you breathe?" "yes!" "Has your pericardial cavity been punctured?" *chuckle* "No!" "All all your arms and legs attached?" "Yes!" "Do you have any vertebra protruding from your back?" *laughing now* "Noo!" "You sure you're alive!?" "Yess!" Then you don't have to be worried about getting told on...
I've done that with my little sister... We would rough house and she'd get "hurt" but she has learned... Now she just goes straight to mom...

Guest T-Bone
When I was little, I was always coming home hurt. I'd usually be yelled at for getting blood on the carpet. Usually I didn't even know I was bleeding. Funny thing is, other people's blood makes me squeemish.

IcePrincessKRS
I always did that thing where you want to look but you don't want to... so then you peel back the band-aid slowly--which hurts because it rips off your arm or leg hair (well, back in the day before leg shaving it did)--and peek, then you quickly try and put the band-aid back on, only since you peeled it off 50 times already its not sticking properly... yeah, that was me... at least my band-aids made it to the trash can, which is more than I can say for some kids... theculturewarrior
I used to walk barefoot everywhere up in Okieland, and one time my friend and me were playing in a creek, and I stepped on some broken glass. I walked about a mile home barefoot, with blood coming out in little spurts, and when I got home, I told my mom not to bandage it because I thought it was cool the wayit sp;urted out so rythmically. But yeah, in the end, I ended up more like HSM's daughter than the son. Now I have a really weak stomach for injuries.

Scofizzle
when I was younger nothing could stop me. We were playing Roayl rumble in my neighbors yard....... and aparently I had broken my arm.....it just seemed to hurt a little so i kept on playing. My mom pulled up in our driveway and she came over grabbed me and took me to the doctor to get a cast. Aparently your elbow is only supposed to bend one way...
