ironmonk Posted September 29, 2004 Share Posted September 29, 2004 If XP is running slow then you have spyware or some program bogging it down - i.e. kazaa, real player, music matchbox, gator, etc.... Every icon near the clock in your taskbar is running in the background, and then some. Check your resources in task manager and see what is hogging your cpu & ram. To run decent xp needs at least 256 ram... if you have a lot open at once, then at least 512 ram.... it depends on what your running. If you need help doing any of the above, just IM me sometime.
