For me it was Terminator all the way!

I did think T3 was greatly inferior to the first 2, though. It was ok, but was missing the James Cameron master's touch. In fact, Arnold was the only one involved in this movie from the first two. T1 and and T2 were intense and made the unbelievable convincing. (I think the acting had a lot to do with this) T3 just somehow didn't feel as "real" and much of it felt redundant. It seemed more like a setup for more sequals. It also undercut the whole message of T2 ("No fate but what we make.")!

James Cameron must've slapped his head when T3 was being made without him, he's back in directing now.

Well what I like about T3's message is its not so athesitist, compared to the others.

"No Fate, But What We Make, For ourselves." that sounds so negative, compared to this one.

"The Future is set." I liked T3's message because it says that Mankind's Destiny is finished (and it is.)

God has his plan for the Human Race.

Man the Terminator Trilogy is smoking, nothing else has been voting on.

None of you all like Tie Lies, Eraser, Commando, Predator, Twins, Kundergraden Cop, Conan or any other movies besides the Terminator films?

I like all of Arnolds movies, but I like the Terminator Trilogy the best, but I still like his other movies too.

I disagree, White Knight.

"No fate but what we make" is a positive message, and stressed the importance of man's free will. It is simply saying the choices we make now determine the path of the future. By making positive choices, the characters in T2 were able to prevent future catastrophe.

T3's message was more positive?
In that movie, there was nothing anybody could do to to prevent mankind from being blown away by robots - fills me full of hope! ;)
I don't think the reason for this was philosophical though - I think it was just to give an unexpected "twist" ending and pave the way for potential sequals about man's war with the machines.

Of course, the whole fate (or Divine Providence) vs. free will thing is one of the most difficult theological/philosophical issues, and is unlikely to be resolved by a hollywood action movie!

What I ment is that T3's message says the the "Future is Written", and It is, God is in control no matter what we say or do, No matter how much Free Will mankind has, we can't do certian things. We can write as many books as we want to to try to disprove God, yet that doesn't change anything, God is on his Throne, and no matter what we say or do, that wont change anything.

Thats how I view T3's message in a way, "The Future is Written"

But it would'nt have been God's will though.
He would'nt want doom to come to the human race and offer no salvation, anyway, why would allow machines to take over the world he created.

True, but I'm simplely saying people take Free Will to heavyly sometimes. Our Fate is written, We can't change that, one way or another, our souls will ethier go to Heaven or Hell, tell me free will can change that..... it can't.
