At my last appointment 4 weeks ago he/she was still too low but this time we heard it right away. :wub: To me hearing the heartbeat makes the Baby that much more "real" to me. Before you know that he/she is growing inside you, but hearing it... Pregnancy isn't just "symptoms" anymore, you really know for certain and have proof... alot of you know that I don't exactly enjoy being pregnant, its just kinda rough on me (I actually look forward to labor because it means I don't have to be pregnant anymore lol), so to be really excited and happy is really good for me. It makes me feel good and happy to be pregnant and thats not something I can say every day. I really LIKE going in for these appointments. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StColette Posted September 27, 2004 Share Posted September 27, 2004 Yesterday during Mass, I was sitting beside this baby and her mother. The baby was about 8 or 9 months old and soooooo adorable. She kept watching me during Mass and everytime I would look over at her, she would just start smiling really big. I swear, the first time you meet her (especially girls) she reaches right out so you can hold her. She's the child who never met a stranger (unless she's really tired or just woke up from a nap). At the Birthing Center we go to we're "famous." lol (Thats how they put it, too!) Adrienne was the first baby born there (they've been in buisness for about 15 years but they had just opened their birthing suites, before that they only delivered in the hospital) and now we're the first family to be coming back with a second child to be born in the Center. I thought it was funny and cute with Adrienne because I'd never really seen a baby her age THAT interested in other kids. She's loved them for as long as she's been aware of them.
