Thy Geekdom Come
lol as Micah knows I was supposed to be born in October lol Oct 31st. But even while still in my mommy's tummy lol I knew that November was far better
And Jen knows that I was expected to be born on Halloween as well, lol...but they misestimated...I actually came late, as they could tell by the urgency involved, but they hadn't expected me so soon. Sojourner
Sounds like the Ice Storm we had in Maine in '98. We could walk on top of the snow without sinking in at all because the ice layer above it was so thick. It was crazy. The trees looked really pretty though, with the inch of ice all over their branches. Until half of them fell down
Yeah, I can remember thinking that all the ice made everything look like a crystal fairy-land. Then we had no water for 8 days and I got over it. Thy Geekdom Come
Our ice storm happened in April, so the sap wasn't into the branches yet. Good thing -- I think exploding sap-filled branches would be a little scary.
Yeah, we thought the poachers had returned that night. toledo_jesus
I think you all are forgetting January Birthdays. I am January the 9th, and I share my birthday with such a great person that I hesitate to tell you. Perhaps our greatest and most respectable President, a man of honesty and integrity, who never swore once in his life. That man...is Richard M. Nixon.
