azaelia
I think everybody wants to hear that...but I'm afraid I'm not gonna get a very pleasant welcome  Maybe I should work on that
theculturewarrior
God loves you, Azaelia. When we get to heaven, he's not going to wag his finger at us, and say, "Oh, you really should have been nicer." Not my God. We're either in or were not. If I have sin on my soul, which I likely will, I'll go to purgatory, and suffer. But Jesus isn't going to lay down a guilt trip. God did not come to condemn, but to save. God bless. Thy Geekdom Come
My mother always used to be afraid that she would be in line outside the Pearly Gates and St. Peter would be talking to Mother Theresa in front of her and he'd ask, "well, yeah, Mother, but do you think you really did that much?" I know that I still have a while to go before I get there, but I am soo looking forward to that moment when I finally get to meet God face to face. He totally deserves a big hug... He has put up with some much of our stuff for such a long time.. I wanna laugh, cry, and proclaim when I see God... I never know how I feel... mixed emotions... But I am never quite sure what will happen... No one really knows... But I know what I want to happen...

Ash Wednesday
When I reach the gates I will let God do with me what he would like. I place all trust in his infinite justice and goodness, and I'm not going to second guess him. But talking about heaven really makes me miss my mom, because she is probably there.
I hope that's true. I've been thinking of that this morning. I don't want to die and have God say, "Boy, you really missed the boat!" Sometimes I feel terribly confused as to what God wants of me. I want to do what is right, but I don't want to live out my life feeling afraid of God in some kind of servial fear. Sometimes I'm not sure if it is God speaking to me, or scruples.
