Hurricane Jeanne

i'm down here in Coral Springs (its N'ern Broward County, just south of Boca Raton, about in the middle of W Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale) and the winds have been picking up with the rain. We have had a gust that I estimated at about 45 mph and i've been seeing even a few of the now familiar blue flashes of light in the distance -- the transformers for electrictity blowing. Fortunately we still have power and only a few branches down last i could see. Thanks for all the prayers, as I am praying for all those hit harder than I am, particularly along the Treasure Coast (Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River Counties).

Hey all... I'm back, and my house is again still standing. But we've got a 24-hour curfew here. Anywho, everything and everyone here is safe, and we have power too.

Hey!!!

I'm fine, lol, I hope all the central Floridians are....

We just had some power issues, nothing related to the hurricane really.

All we got was some uprooted palm trees

And the good news being.....

October is the busiest season for hurricanes...the top month in number of storms.

Great.

Because we have had 4 in 6 weeks and we're not even in hurricane season's prime, lol

So yah...just wanted to check in :D
