Laudate_Dominum
Out of the available options I chose Franciscan U. Partly because I am using a computer on the FUS campus to write this post, and also because dudes like Scott Hahn, Mark Miravalle and others are running around on this campus which is really cool. DominaNostra
Theoketos, TAC is completely Thomistic in every class, including philosophy. Ice, thanks for the clarification. I know a Christendom grad, and I thought she (as well as our old priest, but he did not go there) told me they had to wear skirts or dresses. This might have been changed to include pants? When did you graduate? They may have just failed to mention that pants were allowed for some reason, but I do not know. Do you know if the rules changed possibly? Thanks. God bless. mwscarponi
The best college depends on what you're going to college for, however I have heard that the vatican has stated it's approval of only 3 schools in US (this does not imply disapproval of others just that these three stand out enough to be mentioned) these are FUS, UD and St. Thomas (in So. Cal).
p0lar_bear
I forgot to mention, Steubenville graduates are not hired in a Diocese in Nebraska (probably Lincoln). That is one reason that I am always cautious of the school as a whole (not necessarily every single teacher, though).
umm, that's not true....I know Stuebenville grads working in both the dioceses of Nebraska.

Wearing pants to class and weekday Mass has always been allowed as far as I know, unless the Christendom grad you know graduated way back in the early years of the college and knows something I don't. lol I graduated about 2 years ago. Some of the rules have been tweaked (rules about skirts, for example, have been made clearer, and what shirts guys are allowed to wear, etc.) but not outright changed. Socrates
What's so funny? He really said that. He's lectured at Christendom a number of times, including its summer Apologetics Institute.
vianney
Nebraska has three diocese, Grand Island, Omaha, and Lincoln. I know grads from stubie who teach in Lincoln and Omaha so the other is Grand Island. And if what you say is true the reason there are no teachers from stubie in Grand Island isnt because FU is a weird or unorthodox campus but just the opposite they prolly wont hire them specifically because the grads are conservative. (knowing what i know about Grand Island)
