Mickey's_Girl
Ah, excellent. I've been pondering confession (in a few months) and realizing that, indeed, just like EVERYONE ELSE (it seems), I envision myself confessing the same few sins OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I will say, the prospect of confessing them OUT LOUD is a teeny bit of a damper on my rage to sin. And also, it makes me think about the fact that I'm sinning, much more often. (As I'm going through RCIA, I've been thinking: do I want my priest to hear these things past the first general I've-always-been-a-Protestant-so-I-have-lots-of-sins-to-confess thing? Surely I can learn to behave between now and Easter? ;-) I suspect, however, that weeding out habitual sins is much more complex than I had, at first, supposed. Like Sojourner says, the little victories count. I'm offering prayers for all. MG
