Sojourner
One of the things I did this weekend was go to an art festival, and as part of the festival they had a dancing stage. They had all sorts of different dancers on stage, ballet and so forth, and the local ballroom dancing group had a performance too. It was so cute ... these couples would get on the stage, looking like they could barely move, and then they'd just glide around having a BLAST and dancing better than I ever could. I just thought it was cool to see these couples, many of whom have been dancing together for a long, long time, who still enjoy each other and were obviously having fun, and have learned how to move together so beautifully over the hears. Made me wish I could dance, but I'm terminally uncoordinated ...

theculturewarrior
I can dance, but usually when I do, people point and laugh. Oh well.
Sojourner
Anyone see that episode of "Seinfeld" when Elaine was dancing? That's me, pretty much. Although once I danced with my friend Luke at a wedding, and it worked out OK. I got the hang of it eventually, and didn't even have to keep looking at our feet. I often think of faith as a dance between us and God, and I get a really beautiful visual picture of that ... One of the most vivid dreams I ever had was of a room full of dancers all dressed in white ... I think it was a dream about marriage. It was awesome.
