Hurricane Ivan is predicted to go right through Fort Walton Beach as of the last predicted path. Unless the projected path shifts soon it looks like Lauren, Dominic and I are going to be evacutating to Birmingham to stay with her family.

Please pray for all who have been or will be affected by this storm.

Ivan could do lots and lots of damage to New Orleans. A little while ago, I read that if the city was directly hit, it could be covered in up to twenty feet of water. Over a million people will have to evacuate. I hope it doesn't come to that. Lord, have mercy!

God bless,

Jen

half of new orleans has already evacuated. the gulf coast has a mandatory evacuation.

i watched highway 49 north for about 4 hours today and it was bumper to bumper the entire time.

i'm staying where i am (hattiesburg - 60 miles north of the gulf coast)

keep everyone in your prayers!

It's headed my way too, but it should be at tropical storm or tropical depression strength by the time it reaches Huntsville. If any of the evacuatees are up here, come on by.
