He has a wonderful bright personality and a heart of gold. He would help anyone anywhere without a second thought.
..
Paladin D
If a priest pulled on my pony tail, I would go bonkers! I mean, I never have had long enough hair in my life to have a pony tail, and I now have one!? Where did it come from!?

Mrs. Bro. Adam
For those of you who think that I'm weirded out, I'm not at all.
I'm just standing behind my hubby, waiting to go into the sancturary to worship my Savior in front of the Blessed Sacrament with my fellow brothers and sisters, when, out of no where, a priest comes behind me and pulls on my pony tail, and then proceeds to say, "I've wanted to do that for a while"
I get along very well with Father Don. In fact, I don't think I've ever had to ask for his help or anything. Thankfully, and by God's grace, that is. He's a really cool guy, and I am so excited about getting to know him more It'd be cool to be called his friend Do I think he did it to be mean? No. How do I come at this conclusion, because of what he said afterwards. "I've wanted to do that for a while" was said in a very 'playful' voice. I actually felt quite special that, out of everyone that was there, he'd go to the left part of the sanctuary opening, and pull my hair He was in the middle of talking to people and getting ready to go down. So, yes, he pulled my hair, but I feel extrememly special Hopefully that clears everything up.

Mrs. Bro. Adam
You feel threatened by priests? It's sad that anyone should be made to feel threatened by priests...
It's the knowledge which they hold and sometimes I just feel too vulnerable. theculturewarrior
My experience of priests has been that they get quite a great deal of human contact, but that much of it is on a professional basis. Not many people just take the time to be friends with a priest...most of the people want something or need help... We should organize a group of Catholics who befriend priests just to be their friends...that would be cool... I have a priest friend with whom I go to movies and stuff. That's just cool. When I have a family and a house and stuff, I'm going to invite my priest over frequently for dinner and stuff.
Good post. I think it's sad how little "touch" priests get. Everytime I come home to my parents house, my niece/sister runs and gives me a hug and says "Yay! Justin's here!" And whenever I go to bed, I give my mom and my niece a goodnight kiss...if I'm home. It may sound like some small, but it means a lot...I would miss it if I didn't have it. Poor priests.

I miss that now that I'm all moved ...
