theculturewarrior
I know I didn't put enough options...the Church has soooo much to offer!
Brother Adam
Not sure. I'd pick the last one but haven't been to receive the body and blood of our lord yet.
theculturewarrior
Well...I can tell you, the option about Mary and the one about Confession and the Eucharist are doubtless the most important options I listed, as I'm sure I don't need to tell you... But I want people to just vote for what they like best. Someone may have a relationship with their Guardian Angel that they really treasure...and having never had one before Catholicism...I can tell you, it's a beautiful thing. My Guardian Angel has gotten me through some tough temptations...

theculturewarrior
How do you get a guardian angel?
the Fathers teach that all humans have a guardian angel. In time of temptation, I find this prayer very useful... "Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, every this day (or night) be at my side, to light and to guard, to rule and to guide." Part of your walk with the Lord is spiritual warfare...a good relationship with your Guardian Angel and St. Michael really help. It's also good to ask your guardian angel for guidance when examining your conscience...which I am sadly out of the habit of doing! The sin! The sin! theculturewarrior
Oh yes...and I invoked my Guardian Angel when I slept my first night in my apartment and was obsessing over that weird closet.

homeschoolmom
Okay, when I was like in about 8th grade, I really wanted to be a nun... habit, rosary, the whole thing. I loved the idea... but, being as I was not Catholic, I quickly forgot about that... I also wanted to go to Catholic school... I love plaid jumpers and knee socks.
