ok heres my plan

1) make away messages for all the prayers of the rosary
2) put them up in the same order as they are said

then, when all my prot friends read my away message, they will be saying the rosary at the same time without even knowing it!!!!!

That's a sweet plan. :D I like that you made them in Latin. :)

You can put up the prayers and they'll read it, trying to figure out what it is, and they won't realize they're praying. ;)

Once when my family was on vacation, we were traveling down this highway and there were these signs about 1/2 a mile to a mile apart. The first one was the Creed, the second was and our father, the third a hail mary...
If they are merely reading the words, are they really praying? If it's not heartfelt, why bother?
If you expect everyone to pray with their hearts in it, then you expect too much. If you are accustomed to say a prayer of thanks prior to eating, you cannot in all honesty, expect that every time it's completely heart felt.

There was a certain saint, who's name I forget, who gave his atheist friend a rosary and one of those miracoulous medals, and told him to say a prayer, if he didn't realize God was up there, then he'd never bother him again. It would make sense that the atheist's prayers at first weren't neccessarily heartfelt. They obvioulsy fell on God's merciful and gracous ears.

God bless,

Mikey
