geetarplayer
I collect glass bottles (I have about thirty-five now, twelve of which are Sobe, four of which are Jarritos, three of which are Crush...), currency (old and new, from Bermuda, Canada, England, Germany, Spain, Israel, Ecuador...), and pins (dreamcatcher, Our Lady of Guadelupe, Florida Gators, American flag & cross, monstrance...). So what do you collect? Stamps? Seashells? Hubcaps? -Mark

Sojourner
Books and CDs ... at least, that's what I have the most of at the moment. I'm trying to cut back on my consumption of these items, though ...
voiciblanche
I used to collect peach pits. Hehe. I collect root beer bottles... which is really funny because I have them sitting on my windowsill, and my friends come over and they're a little freaked out... (you can't always tell that they're root beer bottles.) I also collect (for lack of a better word) holy cards and Rosaries and other holy items, generally to give them away to other people. VeraMaria
I have quite a collection of shells from all types of vacations... Then there's the currency collection (my whole family's though), we have some really rare stuff, like Eastern German money before the Berlin Wall came down etc. Hmmm...what else...for some reason I save movie tickets. I can't stand throwing them away.
cmotherofpirl
I collect plants for my garden: mostly hostas and wildflowers. I am trying to get all the C S Lewis books ever written, Dorothy Sayers [Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries], Ellis Peters [Brother Cadfael mysteries], and Dell Shannon [Luis Mendoza mysteries] books. I have the beanie baby birds in a large nest in my bedroom. I collect seasonal items for my dining room and kitchen from the flea market. Right now I am putting away the watermelon stuff and putting out apple stuff. I kept them in large totes in the basement and rotate them during the year. I like most anything green

Phazzan
I used to collect NBA basketball cards when I was a little boy. I didn't know much about the NBA, I just knew that collecting basketball cards was cool, but I remember swapping my Michael Jordan All Stars card worth about $10 back then for a Dikembe Mutombo (sp?) card worth like .5c. That's cause they told me Mutombo was better than Jordan, and I believed them! As for the rest of my good cards, I didn't know any better, so when they freyed on the edges I got my black texter in and coloured in the damaged parts. I even did that to another Michael Jordan card worth about $75 back then, which is now worth zero. The price you pay for stupidity.
MorphRC
Dikembe Mutombo
I remember that guy, he was tall as! I had Alonso, from the charlottes. One of his cards were worth $80 AU about 7 yrs ago. I still got it.
Phazzan
Yeah the Michael Jordan card I got was worth about $75 and that was 10 years ago! I reckon I still got about 1000 or so cards, so my collection my be worth a bit it another few decades. Pay day!
Kilroy the Ninja
dust. Lots of it. All over my house. And apparently, papers too. Just random piles of papers too important to be immediately thrown away or recycled, but not important enough to command my attention or a place in my sacred file cabinet. I'm giving up on collections. They don't bring me much joy anymore. I used to collect Nascar stuff, specifically Jeff Gordon stuff, but I haven't watched a race in YEARS. I used to collect Coca-Cola stuff, and people still give me additions from time to time, but I'm not really actively collecting it. I sort of collect dragon stuff but again, not actively. I have a CD collection that includes over 400 different recordings. But I haven't bought a new cd this year. Guess I'm trying to cut out collections because they take up space, which I have precious little of, time and they themselves collect....dust. -_-
toledo_jesus
Swords. I collect both European and Asian, as well as fraternal swords. I will take any blade. Unfortunately, swords of quality are hard to come by. Anything you see online is probably no good, with the exception of a few companies. There are smiths who still make real swords that you could take into combat, but these generally run into the $2000 price range. In other words, my collection is small.
