Theoketos
I am in a time crunch, I can not go to dinner before mass at 5, because I have class at six, if I go to mass... I would like to eat so that I can better pay attention during class At the same time Mass is more vital then the sun... I welcome thoughts. littleflower+JMJ
go to mass! go to mass! i wish i could go to mass today..... i could'nt make it to the noon mass and im going ot miss the 6 o'clock evening one as well .....*saddness* but you should go to mass, a meal will only help you temporarily (give it a couple of hours and you'll be hungry again) while Jesus will do that and a whoooole lot more!! like help you pass the classes with A's because of your dedication!! ps. pray for all of us when you go!! AfroNova No Limit Soldier
There's a story of some nuns who lived only on the Eucharist. It is, after all, the only thing we need to sustain us. You can do either of 2 things: 1. FAST - give it up to God. Be sustained only by Jesus. 2. EAT - grab a snack from a vending machine.
Thy Geekdom Come
Are you kidding? I wouldn't miss the Eucharist for any mortal meal!
qfnol31
You should come join me at Mass at 6:30 at Cistercian each day. They have an awesome Mass!

[/quote] No. You have to fast an hour before receiving Communion (not an hour before Mass, mind you). After Communion you can eat whenever you want.
