I'm All Moved In ...

So I've gotten moved now, and I'm almost all unpacked and really close to being settled. My new place is two or three times as big as my old place for the same rent, which is nice. It's quiet, though ... I'm going to have to have friends over a lot or I'll go stir-crazy.

The only problem is I can't find where I packed my Claritin, and my allergies are in full swing now ...

Yeah, except that Claritin is over the counter now...

I'll take some allergy medicine ... how much ya asking?

I haven't taken any for three days and I can TOTALLY tell a difference ... my sinuses are all congested, I have a headache, I can't hear too well ...

One of my co-workers just gave me some, though ... I'm sure I'll start feeling better soon.

TCW, I'd love to come visit. Or you can come visit.

HSMom, my old apartment WAS really cool and I miss it a bunch. I really liked it. :(

Yesterday I did the final clean on it, washed out all the cabinets, swept and mopped the floor ... When I was going down the stairs with the mop for the last time, I thought of something to be thankful for each step ... I had lots of laughter, love and happiness during the months I spent there. It was a good place. I'm sure this place will have its own good memories. :D

:sadder: I always hate leaving a home I loved... I was really sad leaving our last house-- our children had grown so much there.... we lived there six years! But I haven't really thought about that place since. When we leave here, I'll pobably be sad again.... For me, I think it's a realization that my kids are growing up too fast....

Btw, we are already getting itch feet to move again... already picking up for sale flyers...

Yeah...I can imagine that it's moving to see your kids growing up. Sort of bittersweet, isn't it?

Thought about moving anywhere east of the Mississippi? Hmm? I hear there may be people in Indianapolis who would like to be your neighbor.

I think you're asking HSMom, but as for myself, I prefer Texas. Think I'll move to Dallas.
