At least you are honest about it. A little honesty goes a long way, and is the first step to progress.

I've been thinking a lot about "things" today. My niece, nephews and I watched Veggie Tales today and the theme was that "stuff" can't make us happy.

This is important for me this weekend to remember, because we are going through some of my mom's stuff. (She died last year.) Some of it is stuff that people are going to decide whether or not we want.

*sigh*

I'm not big on having a lot of "things." I have a couple of sentimental things from my mom and grandma that I would part with if I absolutely had to, but will always hold on to. But they aren't more important than God. "It's not them" as a counselor told me when I explained the difficulty of going through old clothes and things.

In the end, it's all just things.
