If the scholastics and young Jesuits I know are any indication, they aren't becoming more and more liberal. Some of the scholastics here at SLU (we have one of the three U.S. scholastic houses) are totally solid, and are determined to stick with it, even though I can't imagine that they had an easy time in novitiate.

When I was discerning a vocation to the preisthood I talked to come Legionaries and they took my information and stuff. Very normal. Then they started calling me like three times a week. And even After I had finished my discernment (for the time being) and I told them that I was not interested, but they were geting on my nerves with the phone calls. It's almost like they were trying to sell themselves to me. It may not be all Legionaries but this particular group got kind on my nerves so i left with a bad impression.
