Pete-ster
This isn't city water. It's untreated ditch water, teeming with leeches, snails, endangerd sucker fish, blue green algae and slime...
Didn't they used to sell that algae stuff? I mean as a health food. I seem to remember some quack trying to get me to eat some...I politely declined.

The settelment was the largest in history for the county it was held in. I worked for them one summer, collecting the pond scum to be sold to people with more money than brains. Klamath Blue-Green Algae. Most of the stuff contained very little algae, which was a good thing, since it is toxic.

Drank the water all over Eastern Europe, except the stuff I knew was clorinated--smelled like a pool. I used to play in marsh water. This isn't much worse, except now that I'm old and I don't like to get wet.
