Guest T-Bone
The trash with the Orange cover = Idiots Guide to Understanding Catholicism. It is missing the imprimatur, and contains errors about the faith. The author claims that it is not appropriate for a book to have the declaration that it is free from docturnal error. It is a good book for cultural catholics. From what I read so far, the Dummies version is a good book for people wanting to know spirital side of Catholicism. Pete-ster
Loads of errors. That's the importance of the Imprintur--so people know that it is free from errors, both doctornal and moral. If the author of the book can't even realize that, then he's even a worse Catholic scolar than I expected. People like that shouldn't call themselves Catholics. They should form thier own group and leave those faithful to the Faith alone!
