The Most Wonderful Sound

This morning I heard the most beautiful thing in the world.

My baby's heart beating, strong and regular, thanks be to God! Using a doppler, they were able to let us listen for the first time, when my wife is 16 weeks pregnant. It was the first time I've actually been able to observe anything my child was actually doing.

I can't tell you how happy I am today. Strong, healthy and regular, thanks be to God!

THANKS BE TO GOD!

God Bless you all.

No, not yet. They actually don't tell you here until the baby is born. Which is okay. And yes, the more I think about it, the happier I am at such a wonderful sound.

Well, it's just a huge relief, as well as the first real contact from him/her (we don't know yet, won't know until it's born, so we refer to him/her as 'Bizzle Bizzle Hunei' because it's a ridiculous name for either gender.)

So Bizzle Bizzle Hunei is doing well. Praise the Lord.

And as soon as there's photos, there will be photos. Promise!

Our babies' in utero nicknames were:
Sparky
Twinkles
Sprout

I'm not sure how to pronounce Bizzle Bizzle [s]Hunai[/s]Hunei.
