But how do you know the vision that Steve supposedly got came from God? The vision doesn't reflect Catholic teaching, and so it must be assumed that his "vision" was the result of his feelings, opinions, and biases. All humans have the ability to lie, including Steve. However I don't believe he's lieing, just not hearing God's voice fully. But that's my opinion anyway. And of course, the Holy Spirit doesn't lie.
