Yeah. Next thing you know they'll be handing out condoms.

Well, most Anglicans don't teach the Reformed faith that commands worship of God, rather, they kitty cat foot around with 'free will' and other such nonsense. It's no wonder no one wants to come to Divine Worship if the preaching isn't faithful to the Gospel - the Gospel is impotent unless it is the True Gospel of Grace alone, through faith alone, saved by Christ alone, based on Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.

heresy really has grabbed a hold of your heart and blinded you to the truth, hasn't it?

please, this is Open Mic and there was no need for such a comment. we were discussing CHOCOLATE, not reformation heresies.

Ash Wednesday

That's really sad.

People that don't go to church probably don't believe in hell, so the idea of eternal salvation doesn't seem all that necessary. Therefore, they don't feel a particular need to go to church.

I was commenting on the sad state of the Anglican Church from a Reformed perspective. What's wrong with that? You guys, I must say, aren't much better than baptistboard. You attempt to silence (and when you can't silence, you ridicule, case in point, Ironmonk) those who disagree with you.

This is true, which is why the Anglican Church needs to get back to its Reformed roots, require strict adherence to the Thirty-nine Articles, and excommunicate anyone who espouses liberal, modernist, pluralist, or Romanist heresies.

Who was it that apologized profusely about using the word "Romanist" because they feared it was offensive to Catholics? Was that you?

ICHTUS. how many times I gotta tell you, heresy is a doctrine of belief contrary to Catholicism. You saying a Romanist heresy, come from you, a heretic, is like the kettle calling itself black!
