toledo_jesus
wow. Is it bad that I'm not surprised? I've already seen this in Catholic Churches.
ICTHUS
Well, most Anglicans don't teach the Reformed faith that commands worship of God, rather, they kitty cat foot around with 'free will' and other such nonsense. It's no wonder no one wants to come to Divine Worship if the preaching isn't faithful to the Gospel - the Gospel is impotent unless it is the True Gospel of Grace alone, through faith alone, saved by Christ alone, based on Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. Ash Wednesday
That's really sad. People that don't go to church probably don't believe in hell, so the idea of eternal salvation doesn't seem all that necessary. Therefore, they don't feel a particular need to go to church. [/quote] I was commenting on the sad state of the Anglican Church from a Reformed perspective. What's wrong with that? You guys, I must say, aren't much better than baptistboard. You attempt to silence (and when you can't silence, you ridicule, case in point, Ironmonk) those who disagree with you. MorphRC
ICHTUS. how many times I gotta tell you, heresy is a doctrine of belief contrary to Catholicism. You saying a Romanist heresy, come from you, a heretic, is like the kettle calling itself black!
