Guest goofball
Hello All, This is "goofball" back from the dead... and the site looks great dust! I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about the focalari movement in the church... I've been trying to do some reasearch and I'm getting conflicting answers. Does the pope support it? Is it good, is it bad? Does anyone belong to the movement? I'm just confused here but my friend is thinking of joining the movement. Can anyone "school" me?! Thanks, Goofball ;)

Anna
I'm sure they do good work, but I don't see where they claim to be Catholic. They claim to be ecumenical, and say that members of many different religions around the world belong to the movement. Without the Holy Father's authority and leadership, established by a 23 year old woman, basing the movement on the God is Love philosophy, I'm sure they will do many good things, but .... well, I dunno... Pax Christi. <><
