Try your best to avoid trend names especially with boys because parents aren't as creative with boys names as they are with girls. I work in a daycare and some boys names are represented multiple times in each classroom. In one class there is a Josh M, Josh E, and Josh H. Jake/Jacob is also very popular right now. I've also seen a huge growth in Jimmy's (James.) Just a few hints.

One of my fav's is Luke....but I would have a problem with the famous quote from star wars- "Luke, I am your father."

I feel so bad for kids that are named things that sound funny with their last name...like Bunker Hill...

or after pop stars....i know someone who has a 5 month old named Marco Anthony...individually both nice names, but it is so close to Marc Anthony the singer

Ew baby names! I love this!

Let see here,

You could try Freedrick, I like that one alot. Or... Byron, Brian, Aaron, Bill, William, Charles, Herbert or just Bert. Or Jason, or Josh.

Or, if all else fails, you could just call him John... My Dad wouldn't mind...

Everytime someone calls out his name five or six guy at our parish turn and say yes? Its really funny... :)

Our son was almost named John Paul... we loved both of those names... but he was born at the height of our anti-Catholicism, so there was no way that was gonna happen... He's John, but not Paul... (or George or Ringo)
