MC Just
http://www.courtsave.org/ (From this site) Supreme Court at Risk There has never been a more important presidential election in our nation's history. On November 2, the Supreme Court is at risk, and the future of our Constitutional rights and liberties hangs in the balance. * The next president could fill at least three of the nine seats on the Supreme Court. * Four more years of George W. Bush could wipe out 50 years of social progress on basic rights we now take for granted. Civil rights Women's rights, including reproductive freedom Voting rights Workers' rights Environmental protections Privacy rights Disability rights During Bush's first term, all of these fundamental freedoms have been subject to an aggressive and deliberate attack. An already conservative Court has damaged these rights. Those that have survived this attack have done so by the slimmest of margins. Thy Geekdom Come
Women's rights, including reproductive freedom
As opposed to the slavery of abortion and the extremely high, freedom-destroying pressure women, especially working women and poor women, feel to have abortions instead of having children. No...if Kerry wins, I feel that we will die by the sword and the cross within 20 years. The same type of secularist mentality as behind the French Revolution, during which the bones of St. Joan of Arc were scattered through the streets.
