dUSt
Everyone. Please go here: 59beads.com Please be aware: - The sound doesn't work yet - The ONLY thing functional right now is the first decade of the joyful mysteries Please reply to this thread with any suggestions. If the site is not working correctly, or if any graphics are not working or out of place, please let me know. If there is something wrong, please let me know what type of browser you're using, operating system, and your screen resolution. Some questions to ask yourself when testing the site: Does it fit in my browser screen correctly? Would I use this to pray the rosary? Are the images relevant? Can I see the text of the prayers clearly? Is the timing on the image fades a good speed? What could make this site better? I'll be using this first decade as the "template" for the rest of the site, so it's extremely important to correct any mistakes now. Thanks in advance for all your help. God bless. Lil Red
i've always (at the beginning of the rosary) made the sign of the cross and kissed the crucifix. i do this for the beginning and end. and any thoughts on my suggestion of a litany at the end? Iacobus
I like it best than I like VR. Way better in fact.
Azriel
Everything loads quickly, the images are perfect. Fits the brower nicely. I'd be much more likely to use this than VR. Sorry, no valuable suggestions other than I dig it lots. Rates a 10 on the groovy scale.
Lil Red
on each mystery, do you have room to put the actual Bible verse (not just Luke 1:28)?
Cathurian
I really like that! At the bottom, it gives something to think about for each bead! That's probably the best thing about it, to me. And I'm using Opera browser, Windows XP, 1024 by 768 resolution. Works fine
Ash Wednesday
It's working fine on my end! My only question -- are the graphics supposed to rotate on each bead, or is it just a random thing, i.e. 2 graphics per decade?
Lil Red
otherwise, i think it looks great, loads pretty fast, script is good, font is good, :thumb: :thumb: 2 thumbs up!
Colleen
It's really awesome! I love it! It works well in Mozilla Firefox, Windows XP, 1024 by 768.
IcePrincessKRS
I love it. Everything looks great and loads fast for me. I have windows xp, regular old internet explorer, and screen resolution set to 1920x1200.
Piccoli Fiori JMJ
I thought it was awesome! Some of the graphics on my computer loaded a little slow, but my computer is a little slow to begin with Looks good to me! I really like it! I really like how the pictures fade into another one during the Hail Mary's... They do rotate a little slow, but that's because I like to see all the art work... I REALLY like it though! If I could download it to my computer, like VR, I definatly would! It is AWESOME!
dUSt
i've always (at the beginning of the rosary) made the sign of the cross and kissed the crucifix. i do this for the beginning and end. and any thoughts on my suggestion of a litany at the end?
The sign of the cross is included and has a picture of the crucifix to relate (you can kiss the screen at this moment, lol). I think I'll have an option to say litanies at the end. Good suggestion!
dUSt
on each mystery, do you have room to put the actual Bible verse (not just Luke 1:28)?
Possibly. I'll look into this. A good idea might be to have the "Luke 1:28" clickable so that the verse opens up into a new window...? My only question -- are the graphics supposed to rotate on each bead, or is it just a random thing, i.e. 2 graphics per decade?
Well, the graphics "fade" in and out during the decade, but not each bead. The longer you take to say the prayers, the more images you'll see. I was debating between this and having it change each bead. I decided against each bead because it would be hard to find images that would specifically relate to the specific reflection at the bottom for every Hail Mary. Plus, I think the fading effect adds a touch of calmness.
cathgirl
wow. That is amazing. It works fine for me! It's kinda slow, but my internet isn't very fast at all.
