When Anti-catholics Attack

How do we know when someone is a dog or swine and we should not allow them to take our time, which belongs to God?

When in dialog, where do we draw the line of spending time replying?

Dogs and swine can be known...

It does take a little time to recognize them, but they can be known.

They are those anti-Catholics which will ignore your questions and statments about the Church, and believe the lie instead of the Truth about the Church even when you supply links to Catholic sources to show what the Church teaches.

They are those anti-Catholics which attack and when they have no answer to give, they don't want to take the time to find the truth, they change the subject. Some desire to be ignorant about the Catholic faith so that they can go on hating the faith.

Some could be possessed for all we know. Some could be fallen angels. As the Scriptures say that people have entertained angels without knowing it, we could be in the midst of fallen angels and not know it.

Don't let them bring you down... Don't let them change the subject without answering... when they try to change the subject, ask the question again, if they ignore it - don't waste your time which belong to God. For they are barking dogs along our way.

Spend your time with those who are sincere about know what the Catholic faith teaches.

Anyone who comes to this board acting like a Catholic, then rejecting the Church, attacks the Church with the most basic anti-Catholicism attacks, is also a barking dog.... ignore them and move onto someone here who really wants to know what the Church teaches.


Though, sometimes it may be needed to answer the barking dogs for the benefit of others reading the post.... it's a hard call at times. Maybe enough dialog to show that the barking dog is just that, a barking dog... Maybe ask why questions are avoided... point out that the subject is trying to be changed, etc...


The real anti-Catholic, who does not care about truth and is only concerned with proving the Church wrong with their lies is mostly a waste of time.

There is at least one on the board that fits this discription. Repeatedly uses feeble attempts to attack the Church with lies about her teachings.

I ask that we ignore him... unless of course he answers questions with some intelligence.

Notice how they get mad and throw insults when they know they can't ruffle our feathers or prove us wrong.

It's almost like they're possessed. It's sad how they miss the whole point.
