We live about twenty mintues from Destin and one of the biggest outlet malls in the US...Silver Sands. If you go during the summer and winter closeout sales you can get some pretty amazing prices.

Among my favorite stores there are Carter's, Geoffrey Beene and Van Heusen. Obviously Carter's is not for me. :)

Actually...is it really such a bad thing to support a "global" company like walmart? I mean, there are people in this world who are working for peanuts, but how is it going to help if we take their peanuts away?

I'm all about being casual and comfortable. I shop mainly at Old Navy. And Cesar, I like V.I.M.'s too! They are opening at Kohl's in my area soon. Since so many of you seem to like Kohl's, I'll check it out. :)
Wow, I didn't know you did modeling. I did too (for Kohl's and Land's End), when I was much younger. But I also gave that up, and I'm glad I did. Go Vera! You rock!!

I usually buy clothes from Penney's, Kohl's, the Gap, or Charlotte Russe. It's so hard to find modest clothes though. You have to go to about five stores sometimes to find something you like.

But I saw the coolest article yesterday! Check it out: The great fall coverup
I shop mostly at American Eagle the most. However i must confess i do buy a fair amount of clothing from Abercrombie...( i know they are evil and i shouldnt). But my real favourite for clothing is Eddie Bauer i find it lasts forever and is really good queality...and they dont have taht risque feel about them taht Abercrombie has...further to that i am outdoors a lot too and their outdoor stuff is good.

I voted "Other stores" but I only did that because I shop at many of the stores listed plus others. I don't head for one specific store usually, I buy what fits and is on sale (I'm cheap, I can't see paying 30 bucks that for the ammount of fabric it takes up is worth only about 7 bucks). I really love this store called Gabriel Brothers, they carry stuff from other stores that have overstocked (sometimes slightly damaged so you have to look out for that). I love Express jeans, they fit the best, and I can get them from Gabe's for about $10 whereas if I got them at Express I'd be paying closer to 40 for a single pair. I guess if I HAD to pick only one store it'd be Gabe's.

I shop at mostly American Eagle. I have to find pants and jeans that are actually long enough because if I buy pants from, say, Pacific Sunwear, it looks like I am floodin'. Sizes are a priority for me. Dave can testify to that.

I can never ever find pants long enough. I have really long legs, and by the time I find pants that are long enough to go to my feet, they're huge around the waist (like the 3 Junior ugh)

I know that problem VERY well. The only solution I've found is to find brands of pants that come in a long. I finally found jeans that fit me right at Old Navy. I'm very envious of short ppl who never have that problem.

I really liked the Great fall Coverup article too.

I used to always shop at the Gap and Old Navy outlet malls when I lived in Texas... I also like Ross. But now that I am married and my husband is in school, my favorite place is Value Village (I checked goodwill, but we don't have that here). Value Village is the awesomest thrift store ever. There is a Local Big Brothers and Big Sisters clud that will give you a half off coupon anytime you donate clothes to them, so I make a donation and then head to Value Village for a shopping spree. There are tons of things from Gap and Old Navy and lots of other brand names I like. And once they are half price I pay only 1 to 3 bucks for each item! Yay me! Also, I have stocked up on maternity clothes. Really cute ones! Hooray!

.... of course short people (I know firsthand :P ) usually have to hem up their pants, because everything is too long!

i always say at least you can hem them, they never leave any material in the bottom in case u have to make them longer
