I don't recall ever doing it, but my dad did something similar last week. He was trying to open the storm door on our house and it jammed, but he kept walking and his foot hit it and broke the glass. He kicked a big hole right through it.

I have NOT, but that was because my parents put one of those static-cling stickers on ours, so everyone would be able to see it...

I'm the clumsiest girl you've ever talked to.

You can't be worse than my friend Heather. When she ran into the door it was because her then-fiance (now husband) was chasing her and someone else had just gone inside, she thought the door was open I guess, and ran full speed, face-first, into it, hitting so hard it knocked her back onto her rear end. lol We have a running joke about how if something "bad" happens (if you trip for example) its because you were in contact with her recently. We call this phenomenon "Friend of Heather" or F.O.H. for short. :haha: She is very good natured about it and even has her e-mail address a joke about how clumsy she is!

I have run into a glass door before. More than once. Which is not all that surprising since I'm pretty much the biggest klutz ever.

Last night I was at a friend's house, and their dog ran into the screen door trying to get into the house. It was funny.

that sounds alot like something I did. We have this door in our house that kind of swells in the summer so it's really, really hard to close, so one time a couple years ago, I ran at it full speed with my hand on the glass part hoping it would close on the first try and not just bounce back and hit me, and my hand went right through the glass, and got all cut up and I had to get a bunch of stitches and it really hurt. :sadder:

I voted yes, only because I am under the belief thta glass doors serve no greater purpose then for a good laugh when someone runs into them. If they are kept clean, they are impossible to notice without careful diligence. They are not your friends.

God bless,

Mikey

I run into things all the time garbage cans, handicap parking signs, poles, tables, couches (actually I ran into it and fell over on my head w/ my feet in the air), and doors (glass, wood, and screen)
