1: Did I say, SAY..i supported kerry?

No, but you were rating them.
Oy.
2: I already know about Kerry and the vote for war.

So why do you keep beating Bush up about it, like he's the only one that had the final decision in whether or not the US went to war?
It dont make what Bush did any more moral
4: What book?

This seems to be the way you decide things.  And 'in your book' is a saying, meaning, that the way you judge things.
Hmm I find it ironic u were preaching to me, about living catholic, yet now.....
so just because we're not stopping ALL the evil, it's a poor excuse??!!

we'd havta go to war with all the evil dictators of the world to justify going to war with one evil dicator?

i don't think so. the end of one evil regime shows the others we mean business. plus: now we've liberated a whole country. just because there's other countries that haven't been liberated from their evil regimes don't make this liberation any less GOOD. u know that story with the thousands of starfish on the beach, and the kid throwin em back in one at a time? it makes a difference for that one.

btw: swiftboat veterans for truth don't care what bush says. they say they honestly believe John Kerry is unfit for command and will not stop this ad. if bush tells them to stop: they won't! there's nothing that can be done by him. nothing!
Thank you! I couldn't have said it better myself!

I call things as I see them. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I've read each one of your posts, and the only 'explanation' of your stance has been
Well lets see. Bush is a War-Monger = Killer
Now Kerry. Pro-Choice = Pro-Abortion = Killer
.

You attack our country, then say that you don't care for either. Ok...I think we get your point, but must you keep bringing up things that you think are going to show us that Bush is worse than what he is?

He's a God-fearing man. Is that not good enough for you?
"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." -Matthew 7:2

It's in the context of judging others and being judged likewise, but it clearly shows that there are different measures of good and bad.

Also, since we believe in venial and mortal sins, we automatically believe in measures of sins.
Im judging them on their actions.

-> War
-> Murder

Either way they are killers. And I have nothing to fear from being this bluntly against them, since i myself AINT a murderer.

Also, show me where I've been uncharitable. Where I've said ill of anyone or anything (other than the thread which I was kidding around).

Have I insulted you? Show me!

How have my words and actions been un-Catholiclike?

Please...show me!

I didnt say it like that. And you know it. You can write a brilliant theological tract, but cant get what i was saying thru those examples. come on bro..

Also i never denied saddam was evil. Yes he had to go, but the way the Bush went about it was stupid and offensive to the world.

Once again you have used my quote out of context. I was showing that there were different levels of good and bad, not that you were judging Bush or Kerry.

Abortion has killed far more people than have died due to the war. Therefore, Kerry's campaign platform is a greater evil.

Your interpretations is off.

"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." -Matthew 7:2

You Judge others, you will judge the same, say if ur harsh towards them then ull be harshly judged urself.

Same principle applies to Verse 2c.

Un Inspectors, HAD to get out, they didnt leave. Why? Bush began the count down to war. International Law was broken, since the evidence was dodgy at best.

I agree with your interpretation. That was my interpretation.

Yet again you have taken my post out of context. Please stop. It's annoying.

My point, as I stated earlier, was that while this verse relates to the measure of judgment, it clearly shows different levels of punishment for different levels of evil (in this case, the evil of judging another).

Please do not misintrepret me again. I don't like clarifying myself every two minutes.
In the end., The Pope was correct. Bush isnt. The Pope is over Bush ANYTIME of the week.
With all respect to the pope, he is not infallible in this area, nor has he claimed to be. He doesn't have the info that Bush had.

It is also important the pope will likely NEVER favor a war. No one favors war, but some people recognize its necessity.
