Piccoli Fiori JMJ
If I was forced into the army, I'd be one of the first to die from not fighting... I am VERY afraid of pain and I have asthma, so I don't think that will happen, but I wouldn't fight... EVER! Are nuns and monks out of the draft too? I've wondered that for a while now... Thy Geekdom Come
If I was forced into the army, I'd be one of the first to die from not fighting...
Yes. First, all women are out of the current draft plan, but religious ministers (not just priests, but anyone in ministry positions) are exempt. Carrie
I'd rather not be drafted, but if I ever was, then I'd do my duty. I wouldn't like it, but I'd do it.
Iacobus
If I was drafted I would do my best to avoid a combat postion. I would serve, gladly, as a clerk of some nature, in the Coast Guard, or doing civil service at home.
toledo_jesus
I'd go wherever my country needed me. I would do my best to live up to the men who served before me, including both my grandfathers. However, a draft is not necessary to combat a bunch of Muslim insurrectionists. There is not a clearly defined enemy like in Korea or WWII. A draft won't be necessary until we are fighting a country with the resources and manpower to defeat our volunteer military.
