We Need To Change Our Attitudes
I think we need to pray for the ones who justify supporting Kerry.
Well, yes, but surely you're not saying we shouldn't pray for Kerry himself?

If by that comment you're referring to M.SIGGA, who's mentioned in Dave's post, he does not support Kerry, he's talked about voting for a third party candidate because he can't vote for President Bush. However, he is disgusted by the bitter, and I do mean bitter hatred of Kerry and all Democrats by some on this phorum (I'm not going to name names, but I definitely could, and you all know who), and I too am disgusted by it. And I am not supporting Sen. Kerry, either; I am supporting charity. It's not charitable to constantly malign someone, treating him as subhuman, while also refusing to pray for him.
Attack the policies, not the man.
I disagree.

He's not getting attacked, the truth is getted defended against his lies.

We cannot know the real policy when the man changes it everytime he speaks.

You are missing the point, when someone is running for office they must be scrutinized.

Everyone who fights for truth needs everything available to show that it is insane to vote for the guy.

If someone is driven off because of facts and contradictions dealing with kerry... that person has an issue.

would it be possible to have a separate (temporary) politics phorum so the other phorums are inundated with political arguing?

Kerry News Links.... I originally posted on the debate board, but was moved here.

Then someone wanted to attack me for posting links to news articles about kerry.

Maybe that's because that's all you post in an effort to turn Phatmass into the cyber headquarters of Bush/Cheney '04.

Phatmass should be, at least unofficially, in favor of Bush-Cheney '04.

George W. Bush is this country's best hope for become pro-life again. That is a central issue and should be THE issue for any and all Catholics.

Someone tries very hard not to pay attention to you. I think I'll go back to doing just that.
Kerry is definately not the devil incarnate.

That role is specifically taken by Hilary Clinton.

J/K :P - but I do think she is a lot more scary.

The more I think about him, the more I feel sorry for him, just like Gov McGreevey. Imagine how empty their lives must be without the bedrock of faith and grace that comes through intimacy with God and the Sacraments. He is truly a man to be pitied and prayed for.
agreed! ^_^

I'm reminded of something I posted in the Debate Table a while back in which I didn't follow my own advice. I feel like I should bring it to everyone's attention now because I've changed my tune since having posted it and now feel like it was unnecessary to post for the reasons given by others as to why they shouldn't have been posted: http://phorum.phatmass.com/index.php?showt...=0entry120060

Please don't think I'm a hypocrite!

you know, we can really bring the church in america back to life if people will just stop telling us to shut up.. That's the problem.....
