Ranting Thread For Tonight...

We have people over for a BBQ today. Including a two guys who go to my school (16 and 17) and their cousin who is 19.

My mom has been trying to play Matchmaker between me and the 16 year old one forever...it's SO annoying!! They're part of the group of guys who don't get "no." when they ask you on a date, and they'll keep asking you till they're blue in the face. With every no they get more determined. There's even a joke among guys at my school that the first guy who "breaks me" or "tames me" or whatever should get a medal. They're all jerks.

Of course their sister (24) had to drag along three friends (two 16 and one 17, all dressed in the tiniest skirts and tops, which really doesn't flatter their figure...and I thought I was underdressed in shorts and a tank top  ). So guess what. I'm stuck with them all..

First hour went this way:

The three girls were batting their eyelashes at the two brothers and their cousin. I got tired of the small talk and asked if they wanted to play table tennis (ping pong). They agreed.

So it was me and the three girls. Every time I hit the ball they'd shriek and pretend to fall into the arms of the guys, who were watching. It was ridiculous. And every single time the ball flew somewhere of course I had to get it...

Then one of the guys, Alex, said "Whoa Vera, you're amazing! Want to play against me?" I didn't want to but I didn;t really have a choice, so I said sure. Beat him bad, too, to the hoots of his cousin and brother.

Now we were eating chorizo with the adults ("Oh my, how horrible for my diet!" says the girl who's been eating chips and peanuts ever since she came  ) and one of the girls told this really really ARGH....crude joke involving priests. My mom saw my mouth opening and flashed me a warning look so I just stood up abruptly and said I'd go get napkins.

Not to mention how hard those guys are trying to catch my attention but the harder they try they stupider they seem.

I'll be ranting on and on....

I have to go back. Argh.

Stay tough. Your standard for guys is high. It's not till guys are older that they're self confident enough to stop acting like jerks. Your mom is taking for granted that guys mature and is forgeting it's not for a while yet.

Give them 15-20 years to mature, they might less immature to the point they are bearable to be with. (Men never fully mature, immaturity flakes off and burrows itself in, but it never truely disappears, I thought it only fair to warn you.)

lol.

well...

Nothing's happened except I'm supposed to be serving dessert. And I wish I could just be PMing.

The way those girls are trying to get those guys' attention is disgusting.

And they said "With your figure, we could take you shopping to this amaziing store that has small sizes...then you could turn some heads..."

I was just like "Ehem...thank you...but no."

But anyway, why does it seem I am the only PMer who starts thread after thread talking about my boring life

Wish I could get on PalTalk...

Maybe later.
